King of the Nations Leadership Team King of the Nations Christian Fellowship is an eldership-based government. The current eldership team consists of Greg Zetts, Houston Adkins, Art Hays, Mike Brauch and Mickey Grackin. The intent is to incorporate more elders into the team over time, which in turn is expected to release others for more outreach to the nations. The Senior Pastor of King of the Nations Christian Fellowship is Pastor Greg Zetts, with Associate Ministers Houston Adkins and Erik Tammaru also on staff.
In the early 1990s God birthed in Pastor Greg the vision for a local church that would embrace the apostolic and prophetic ministries to establish and advance the kingdom of God in people’s hearts under the name of “King of the Nations” from Jeremiah 10:7. After Pastor Eddy Swieson retired in September 1997, Greg took on the role of Senior Pastor of the then Christian Covenant Church (CCC). Shortly after in 1998 the name of the church was changed to King of the Nations Christian Fellowship. Pastor Greg and his wife Marji have five children Melissa, Daniel, Emily, Hannah, and Benjamin and reside in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Greg also travels overseas to minister to pastors and leaders in countries such as Mexico, Cuba, India, Vietnam and Kenya.
Associate Minister Houston Adkins had a dramatic salvation experience in 1992, when God sovereignly rescued him from a life of alcohol abuse and revealed Himself as a compassionate and exceedingly loving, yet holy God. Houston attended and graduated from Messiah Biblical Institute in 1995, earning a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies. From 1996 to 2000 he served as youth pastor for King of the Nations, and then served as the secondary level Assistant Principal from 2000 to 2006 at Ets Chaiyim Messianic Day School. Since 2006 he is serving full-time at King of the Nations with a calling to develop the prophetic ministry. He also is responsible for the emerging home assembly ministry. Houston has a love for the Messianic Jewish roots of the faith, and a passion for the Church to express the purity, integrity and fullness of the Holy Scriptures. Houston is married to Brandy Adkins.
Associate Pastor Erik Tammaru has been married to Crissy Tammaru for more than 25 years. They have five grown children and one grandchild. Since serving as a police officer here in Montgomery County in the '80s, Erik has been in full-time vocational ministry for over two decades, and has planted churches in five nations. |
