King of the Nations Leadership Team

King of the Nations Christian Fellowship is an eldership-based government. The current eldership team consists of Greg Zetts, Houston Adkins, Art Hays, Mike Brauch and Mickey Grackin. The intent is to incorporate more elders into the team over time, which in turn is expected to release others for more outreach to the nations. The Senior Pastor of King of the Nations Christian Fellowship is Pastor Greg Zetts, with Associate Ministers Houston Adkins and Erik Tammaru also on staff.

Pastor Greg Zetts and Wife Marji Senior Pastor Greg Zetts returned to the Heavenly Father as a prodigal son in 1981 after spending several years living addicted to alcohol. On April 12 of that year Greg surrendered his life totally to the Lordship of Jesus. It was after that, that Greg heard the calling to enter the ministry. He attended Northwest Christian College in Seattle, Washington and Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, where he graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in Biblical Literature and Pastoral Ministry. Pastor Greg then accepted a position as youth pastor and associate pastor with Christian Covenant Church in Rockville, Maryland where he worked along side Dr. Eddy Swieson for nine years.

In the early 1990s God birthed in Pastor Greg the vision for a local church that would embrace the apostolic and prophetic ministries to establish and advance the kingdom of God in people’s hearts under the name of “King of the Nations” from Jeremiah 10:7.

After Pastor Eddy Swieson retired in September 1997, Greg took on the role of Senior Pastor of the then Christian Covenant Church (CCC). Shortly after in 1998 the name of the church was changed to King of the Nations Christian Fellowship.

Pastor Greg and his wife Marji have five children Melissa, Daniel, Emily, Hannah, and Benjamin and reside in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Greg also travels overseas to minister to pastors and leaders in countries such as Mexico, Cuba, India, Vietnam and Kenya.

Associate Pastor Houston and Wife Brandy

Associate Minister Houston Adkins had a dramatic salvation experience in 1992, when God sovereignly rescued him from a life of alcohol abuse and revealed Himself as a compassionate and exceedingly loving, yet holy God. Houston attended and graduated from Messiah Biblical Institute in 1995, earning a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies.

From 1996 to 2000 he served as youth pastor for King of the Nations, and then served as the secondary level Assistant Principal from 2000 to 2006 at Ets Chaiyim Messianic Day School. Since 2006 he is serving full-time at King of the Nations with a calling to develop the prophetic ministry. He also is responsible for the emerging home assembly ministry.

Houston has a love for the Messianic Jewish roots of the faith, and a passion for the Church to express the purity, integrity and fullness of the Holy Scriptures. Houston is married to Brandy Adkins.

Associate Pastor Erik Tammaru

Associate Pastor Erik Tammaru has been married to Crissy Tammaru for more than 25 years. They have five grown children and one grandchild. Since serving as a police officer here in Montgomery County in the '80s, Erik has been in full-time vocational ministry for over two decades, and has planted churches in five nations.

While living in Europe as missionaries, Erik & Crissy merged churches with Pastors Jon & Kokeb Palmer, and established the Christian Family Church in Vienna, Austria. They later moved to Basel, Switzerland where they helped pioneer and lead the Oikos International Church together with Pastors Larwin & Silvia Nickelson. While there, they established a city-wide alliance to contend for revival and city transformation called B.E.T.E. They then returned to the U.S. in 2002 where Erik became the Executive Director of Harvest International Ministry, an apostolic movement, working closely with Che Ahn and Lou Engle.

In 2006 Erik & Crissy founded the River Church in Germantown as senior leaders before merging together with King of the Nations in 2010.

Erik and Crissy carry a heart for families, real relationships, God's love, and the presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit to transform lives. Erik is also serving as a chaplain for the Montgomery County Police.
