Missions
King of the Nations has always been a ministry deeply involved and committed to the work of missions. We have a passion for the lost, and thus missions is close to our heart. We currently allocate eight to ten percent of our annual budget to the support of full time missionaries already in the field, of members who wish to serve on short term mission trips, and staff members who regularly minister overseas. Eight percent may not sound like much overall, but when you compare that amount to the national average among American churches which is only 0.05 percent, one can see we are very serious about missions as a ministry.

The concept of missions as a ministry flows very well within our visionary concept of ministry as a whole. It touches two of the four core values or Pillars of our vision, i.e. “evangelism” and “the nations”. The basic premise is a simple one. Saints of God, who have been touched and impacted by the Father, are then sent or commissioned by Him to “go” and share the Good News with others and impact the nations for Messiah.

Our passion empowers us both to serve the vibrant diversity of internationals living right here in our communities as well as to go and labor in the foreign fields abroad. Staff and members of our church have labored in the mission fields around the world. We regularly send out at least three to five short term trips every year. Some of the countries we have visited include: Vietnam, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel, Kenya, Cuba, India, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and others.

Truly, missions and missionary work, is one of our greatest blessings as partners of Messiah, in the advancement of His kingdom!
