Jesus said "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:13-14) Saturday mornings (in the Spring and Summer) from 11am - 1pm we set up at the Lakeforest Transit Center (Bustop) in Gaithersburg and hand out free bottles of water, as a reminder of the spiritual water that Jesus offers all who are thirsty and come to him to drink. It is a great way to share the love of the Father and the gospel message with the people of our community who are looking to satisfy the thirst of their souls that this world leaves us with. Let us know if you are interested in joining us! Call the office and ask about the Bustop Ministry or just see us there Saturday! |
Worship is not limited to the singing of songs - it's a lifestyle of obedience that we offer up to the Lord continually. But we love to sing the Lord's praises! The Psalms tell us to sing and make music to the Lord, to proclaim to the nations what He has done (Psalm 57, Psalm 147, Psalm 9).
Ephesians 5:19 tells us to "speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord."
When we come together, we come united to lift our hearts and lives to the Lord as an expression of our devotion and gratitude to Him for all He has done and all He is doing in our lives! And so many times that is when the Lord chooses to respond to us and speak to our hearts, strengthening us in His love.
So get ready to join us in worship during the service times, where we can speak out to the Lord together and He can speak back to us! |

King of the Nations has always been a ministry deeply involved and committed to the work of missions. We have a passion for the lost, and thus missions is close to our heart. We currently allocate eight to ten percent of our annual budget to the support of full time missionaries already in the field, of members who wish to serve on short term mission trips, and staff members who regularly minister overseas. Eight percent may not sound like much overall, but when you compare that amount to the national average among American churches which is only 0.05 percent, one can see we are very serious about missions as a ministry. |

God has a passion for children. Jesus said “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them”. Children are just as important as adults in the Body of Christ. They are able to know God personally and can learn to move in the power of God. There are numerous examples in Scripture which reveal that God can and will begin to work in children’s lives well before they reach the teenage years or adulthood. Moses, Joseph, Samuel, David, and John the Baptist are all examples of how God either began to work in their lives as a child or how He revealed His plan for their lives while they were still young. It is also our passion to connect children with God and to see them walk with God in His ways. |
